Evaluating the Accuracy of Maxillary Occlusal Plane Transfer by Using Three Semi-adjustable Articulator – Facebow Systems: An In Vivo Study
Accurate transfer of the occlusal plane to the articulator is critical for obtaining stability, normal function, and esthetics in dental prosthetics. The occlusal plane inclination directly impacts the smile line of the prosthesis, stability, and phonetics. Correct occlusal plane is vital for harmonious function of cheek, tongue, and muscles, which ensures denture stability and efficient mastication.
