Across physics, information theory, thermodynamics, and systems science, a single unifying constraint emerges: no signal or response can occur instantaneously. This work presents a multidisciplinary synthesis of 30 independent lines of reasoning that all converge on the necessity of a nonzero minimal response time . Each argument stems from a distinct physical or logical limitation—be it relativistic causality, quantum coherence bounds, information transfer rates, thermodynamic feasibility, or control-theoretic stability. Collectively, they form a robust, falsifiable theoretical scaffold that prohibits the existence of truly instantaneous reactions in any physically realizable system. The distinction is made between system-specific lower bounds and a possible cosmic minimal bound , the latter potentially related to Planck-scale phenomena. The results imply that is not merely a feature of biological or engineering constraints, but a universal structural requirement of the physical universe.
