PRODUCTIVITY OF SUGAR BEET HYBRIDS IN CONDITIONS OF THE KRASNODAR REGION

There are presented the results of a competitive trial of sugar beet hybrids. The hybrids with numbers 39493, 39477, and 40185 demonstrated high yields: 56.4, 56.0, and 56.0 t/ha, respectively. The hybrid No. 39497 had the maximal sugar content – 20.03% and the highest sugar yield – 10.4 t/hа. As a result, the promising hybrids with high productivity and qualitative technological characteristics, adapted for cultivation in the conditions of the Krasnodar region are selected. The research was conducted in fields and laboratory.
