Two-Stage Robust Optimization of a Hydrogen Production-Storage-Transportation System Considering Optimal Hydrogen Transportation Path Selection
With the increasing proportion of hydrogen energy in the system, the access to the integrated hydrogen energy production-storage-transportation system increases the scheduling pressure on the power grid. In this paper, a two-stage robust co-optimization model of the hydrogen production-storage-transportation system is constructed to take into account the optimal transportation path selection of hydrogen energy. First, a model of the integrated hydrogen production-storagetransportation system is constructed, including the electrolytic cell, the hydrogen refueling station, and the hydrogen pipe trailer; Second, production-storage-transportation co-optimization model is built considering the optimal path selection to match the uncertainty of the wind and light outputs; and lastly, a two-stage robust two-phase model is developed to deal with the impact of the uncertainty on the operation of the system considering the uncertainties at the load-side and to simulate the co-optimization of the system with the setup of specific real-world scenarios. Simulation is carried out. The simulation results show that the model developed in this paper reduces the system operation cost by 20.15% and the carbon emission by 30.95%, and the proposed co-optimization method can effectively reduce the total operation cost of the mobile hydrogen energy system and improve the flexibility of the scheduling decision.
