Reliability Analysis for Radio Equipment in the Case of Linear Degradation of Technical Condition
The operation of aviation radio equipment is the longest stage of its life cycle. During this stage, intervals of infant mortality, normal functioning, and wear out are distinguished. The moment of transition between the second and third intervals is the beginning of degradation processes in radio equipment. This point must be detected in a timely and accurate manner to support the effectiveness of civil aviation tasks using radio equipment. After detecting the degradation process, it is necessary to analyze the reliability of the radio equipment and evaluate its residual resources. This paper considers the task of assessing the reliability of radio equipment in the case of a linear trend of deterioration of the technical condition. This task is solved based on the use of the maximum likelihood method. The obtained solutions were verified by statistical simulation. The research results can be used in decision support systems during the operation of radio equipment.
