Multi-Objective Optimization of Warehouse Storage Location Allocation Considering Human Factors Assessment
The rationality of materials storage location allocation in traditional warehouses not only affects the efficiency of materials in and out of the warehouse, but also concerns the labor load of personnel. This paper discusses a practical improvement proposal. First of all, the materials in the warehouse logistics activities in the process of storage and transportation unit analysis, to determine the storage location of the “principle of proximity allocation”. Subsequently, in order to avoid the labor load hazardous to employees' occupational health, a multi-objective optimization mathematical model is constructed under the consideration of human factors ergonomics assessment, and solved by using the exact solution method. Finally, the reasonableness of the optimization of storage location allocation is verified by Flexsim simulation.
