The Study of the Global Crude Oil Shipping Network CSSI Model Based on AIS Data
Crude oil, as an important energy resource, has unbalanced production and consumption distribution. China is highly dependent on the crude oil import by shipping. However, the instability and uncertainty of the international environment have obviously increased, leading to the terminal risk of the sea corridors are increasing day by day. In the research of crude oil maritime transportation, it is very important to study the security of crude oil shipping network composed by various nodes, complex transportation lines and uneven distribution of production and sales, where the complex situation in. This paper, firstly, based on AIS database and actual shipping transportation data, developed a global crude oil shipping network model with the application of complex network theory. Secondly, the evaluation indexes are constructed from the dimensions of network aggregation, network function, network spatial superiority, network aggregation and network transmission for analysis the crude oil shipping network. Thirdly, the mathematics model is researched to establish the Connectivity Security and Support Index, (CSSI) and the accuracy of the model is verified simultaneously, which provides support for improving the reliability and robustness of the crude oil shipping network and ensuring the safety and stability of energy transportation in China.
