Analysis of Performance of Blockchain in Cloud Computing
Blockchain has become a revolutionary solution in different sectors to provide improved security, shareability, and decentralization. Concerns about data leakage, lack of trust, and central points of weakness that came up because of cloud computing are given new big chances to deal with them. However, this concept has drawbacks related to latency, throughput, and resource utilization, which affect system performance. Lastly, this paper does a thorough review of the previous research that looked at how blockchain adapts to cloud integration from the points of view of performance and architectural improvements, as well as its uses. It is possible to find the main publication sources for a wider range of papers. The focus is on new topics, like hybrid architectures, efficient consensus algorithms, and lightweight protocols. The implications of these results are perhaps most evident in the requirement for multi-disciplinary action on scalability and efficiency. In addition, this review gives direction for future work and comes up with the notion that energy-efficient mechanisms, real-time analytics, and improvements to the current standards of interoperability are needed for the development of blockchain in cloud environments to be optimized further.
