Evaluation of the Effect on Bed Demineralizer for Increasing the Discharge Flow Rate in the Nuclear Power Plant
To improve the purification efficiency of the primary coolantloop during the outage period of nuclear power plants, it is necessary to increase the operation flow rate during the oxidation and purification periods. The bed demineralizer is an important piece of equipment for the system, so we should pay attention to the effect of the purification capacity and operation pressure drop after increasing the flow rate. Through experiment and computational fluid dynamics simulation, the relationship between flow rate and pressure drop of the bed demineralizer can be obtained accurately.
