Harnessing Hall and Dufour Effects in Rotational MHD Flow: Pioneering Advances in Thermal and Mass Transport Technologies

This study investigates the Hall and Dufour effects on the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of a viscous, incompressible fluid past a vertically parabolically accelerated plate in a rotating system. The governing equations for momentum, energy, and species concentration are solved exactly using the Laplace transform method. We look at important nondimensional factors, like the Hall parameter, Prandtl number, thermal and mass Grashof numbers, Dufour number, Schmidt number, and magnetic field strength, to understand how they affect flow behavior. The results show that the Hall Effect increases certain speed components, changing the overall flow pattern. Meanwhile, the Dufour effect plays a big role in heat and mass transfer by improving thermal diffusion. Rotation diminishes the primary velocity as a result of Coriolis forces, thereby stabilizing fluid motion. The study provides graphical evaluations of velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles, emphasizing the complex interactions of physical factors. The findings are relevant to space gases, industrial systems involving magnets and fluids, and heat management in energy conversion.
