Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Development of Students
Over the centuries, the accumulation and sharing of knowledge have profoundly shaped the human intellect, paving the way for the emergence of modern civilization. As development progressed, the methods of acquiring and disseminating knowledge evolved. Today, in the era of digital technologies, artificial intelligence exerts an increasingly powerful influence on education. This technology is fundamentally altering how students learn and how lecturers teach, ultimately transforming the entire education system. In the Adjara region, as in the rest of the world, education continues to be a cornerstone of personal and national success.AI presents numerous opportunities for lecturers, teachers, students, and educational institutions, greatly enhancing the effectiveness of the educational process. For instance, lecturers spend a significant amount of time grading tests and assignments, which demands considerable effort. By leveraging artificial intelligence, they can instead focus more on interacting with students, discussing their mistakes, and engaging in other educational activities.Outside of the classroom, students often require additional support, which an AI lecturer can provide. Today, AI-based programs assist students in learning various subjects more effectively. However, these programs currently only offer basic knowledge, which is insufficient for mastering complex materials. In the future, though, such AI tools could become valuable resources for learning more advanced subjects. One of the key challenges we face today is harnessing the full potential of artificial intelligence, a crucial and powerful technology, while mitigating risks and preventing negative consequences.
