Comparative Analysis of Reliability for Orthogonal and Nonorthogonal Configurations of Inertial Sensors

The paper deals with a comparative analysis of reliability characteristics for orthogonal and nonorthogonal characteristics of inertial sensors assigned for operation on unmanned aerial vehicles. The static reliability models for orthogonal and nonorthogonal configurations for orthogonal and nonorthogonal configurations are represented. Situations with no failures, one failure, and two failures are considered. Reliability characteristics including the probability of no failure operation, failure rate, and average time of no failure operation are calculated. Finite results are given in the table of comparative calculations.

Abstract

The paper deals with a comparative analysis of reliability characteristics for orthogonal and nonorthogonal characteristics of inertial sensors assigned for operation on unmanned aerial vehicles. The static reliability models for orthogonal and nonorthogonal configurations for orthogonal and nonorthogonal configurations are represented. Situations with no failures, one failure, and two failures are considered. Reliability characteristics including the probability of no failure operation, failure rate, and average time of no failure operation are calculated. Finite results are given in the table of comparative calculations.
