Research on Energy Storage Compensation Price Mechanism Based on Transfer Factor

With the transformation of the global energy structure, the role of energy storage systems in the power market is becoming increasingly important. However, the current market mechanism has not yet fully incentivized the widespread application of energy storage and investment returns. To this end, this paper conducts a study on the energy storage compensation price mechanism based on the transfer factor, aiming to improve the revenue level of energy storage and the overall operating efficiency of the power system. Firstly, the business model and profit model of energy storage are discussed, and the challenges and opportunities in the existing market are analyzed. Secondly, by systematically sorting out the design principles of the energy storage compensation mechanism, the design goals of the energy storage compensation mechanism are clarified. Thirdly, a energy storage compensation mechanism based on the transfer factor is proposed to more accurately reflect the compensation method of the benefit subject to the energy storage subject. Finally, the effectiveness and feasibility of the compensation mechanism are verified by combining specific case analysis. This study can provide new perspectives and solutions for the commercial application of energy storage systems, and provide effective reference for policymakers and industry participants in designing and optimizing energy storage compensation mechanisms.
