Fast Zero-Knowledge Identification Method with Password Reuse Blocking
The paper theoretically substantiates, proposes and studies the Fast Zero-Knowledge Identification Method, which is a development of the well-known Schnorr schemes. Acceleration of identification is achieved by using the pre-computation technology for the constant information component of the basic identification operation, which is modular exponentiation. Blocking the possibility of passwords reusing by the system is achieved by introducing a connection between it and the session number using a hash transformation. Formal descriptions of all four procedures the method are given, their work is illustrated with examples. It is theoretically and experimentally proven that the proposed method increases the identification speed by three orders of magnitude.
