Demand Response Promotes Coordinated Optimization and Scheduling of Power System Source Load for Wind Power Consumption

Using demand response as a virtual power generation resource to participate in power generation scheduling, analyzing the principle of demand response participating in power generation scheduling to promote wind power consumption, establishing a source load coordination optimization scheduling model considering wind power consumption, with the objective function of minimizing power generation costs and carbon emissions, applying membership functions to transform multi-objective functions into single objective optimization problems, taking a 10 machine system as a simulation example, and using grey wolf optimization algorithm to solve the model. The simulation results show that demand response participation in power system optimization scheduling can integrate source load side resources, coordinate and optimize configuration, and improve the wind power consumption capacity of the power grid by leveraging the time of use electricity price to enable users to reasonably change their electricity consumption patterns and structures.
