Professional Competencies Formation of the Aviation Operators as a Response to Changes in Air Transport System

The increasing complexity of the air navigation system highlights the need for the development and improvement of professional training for aviation personnel, particularly given the limitations in time and resources. The aim of the article is to propose an approach to the formation of professional competencies through the interprofessional integration of future air traffic controllers and pilots and their professional training system. The novelty lies in the model for defining new competencies in the "Loss of GPS signal" scenario, as a response to changes in the air transport system. For targeted competency development, a method of situational-oriented virtual modelling within a unified educational environment over a specified period is proposed, based on research findings related to training time and the implementation of a virtual modelling mechanism during the decision-making and execution of joint solutions by the "air traffic controller - pilot" team. This approach allows for the optimization of material, technical, and human resources, leading to increased economic efficiency, which is crucial in resource-constrained training systems.
