Review of Battery Thermal Management Techniques for Electric Vehicles in Cold Environments
With the rapid development of the new energy market and the widespread application of electric vehicles (EV) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), battery technology has become one of the core competitions in the automotive industry. However, in low-temperature environments, the chemical reaction rate of batteries will decrease, leading to a decrease in the charging and discharging performance of batteries, thereby affecting the vehicle's range and performance. Analyzing the existing technical methods of battery insulation technology at home and abroad, it is concluded that the research hotspots of battery insulation technology have gone through a process from insulation materials to insulation devices to proposing new system control strategies through simulation analysis. In the future, battery insulation technology will develop towards higher performance, lightweight, and intelligent direction.
