Study on Single-phase Ground Fault Routing Method of Resonant Grounding System Based on Parameter Optimised VMD
This study presents a fault routing method for single-phase grounding faults in resonant grounding systems. The method is based on the analysis of the composition and characteristics of the transient zero-sequence current. The analysis employs a VMD decomposition with waveform correlation and energy ratio as the criterion. Firstly, the parameters of the VMD decomposition are optimised with the objective of separating the low-frequency components, high-frequency components and noise signals in the transient zero-sequence current. Once this has been achieved, the reconstructed signals are obtained after the noise signals have been removed. Subsequently, the correlation coefficients of the low-frequency components and the Hilbert energy ratios of the reconstructed signals are calculated to form the criterion matrix. Subsequently, the K-means clustering algorithm is employed to achieve fault routing. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed line selection method is an effective approach for accurately identifying faulty lines.
