Comprehensive Approach to Android Penetration Testing: Techniques, Tools and Best Practices for Securing Mobile Applications
The fast evolution of mobile technology made Android applications central components of financial and healthcare and communication systems thus requiring the establishment of strong security practices. The identification of potential threats and their evaluation alongside their prevention requires Android penetration testing. This research introduces an organized testing method for Android devices that adds core methods alongside popular tool chain evaluations and mobile platform security standards. The research establishes organized procedures from information acquisition to vulnerability screening and exploitation thus helping security developers and specialists strengthen their security operational capability. The research shows that Android security depends on dedicated testing environments together with current tool maintenance and secure coding workflow implementation. The application of a proper penetration testing methodology through structured steps produces better Android application security results and defends users against new threats while making systems more resistant.
