Optimal Scheduling Strategy for Microgrid Cluster Systems Integrated with Mobile Energy Storage
This paper addresses the integration of renewable energy in microgrid clusters, focusing on the challenges posed by their intermittent and volatile nature. To enhance economic efficiency and power supply reliability, a multi-objective optimization scheduling strategy incorporating mobile energy storage systems (MESS) is proposed. The strategy aims to minimize operational costs, reduce environmental impact, and optimize MESS deployment. The Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is utilized for its efficiency and accuracy in solving complex, nonlinear optimization problems. Simulations using real meteorological and load data from a renewable-rich coastal region validate the model and strategy. Results show significant improvements in operational cost reduction, environmental sustainability, and effective MESS utilization, thereby ensuring a stable and reliable power supply. This study offers a comprehensive solution to the economic and environmental challenges of integrating renewable energy into microgrid clusters (MGC).
