Research on the Optimization Model for Improving the Comprehensive Efficiency of Energy Storage Power Station Systems

This paper aims to study and optimize the comprehensive efficiency of energy storage power station systems, especially under the backdrop of “dual carbon” goals, where the expansion of renewable energy generation makes energy storage technology a key support for the power system. The study focuses on electrochemical energy storage technology, particularly lithium-ion battery technology, discussing the key factors affecting its comprehensive efficiency and proposing strategies to enhance efficiency. The research first assesses whether the comprehensive efficiency of the energy storage power station meets current assessment requirements, then designs a method to improve comprehensive efficiency without the need to modify the energy storage power station, targeting the two main influencing factors: auxiliary load power supply methods and energy storage cabin temperature control system strategies. By establishing an optimization model, the method aims to achieve efficiency improvement at the minimum cost to meet assessment requirements. Finally, taking a 100MW/200MWh energy storage power station as an example, the practical application of this method is demonstrated. This study is significant for improving the economic and reliability of energy storage power stations and promoting the development of energy storage technology.
