Research on Multi-Type Energy Storages Allocation Strategy of Distributed Energy System Based on Multi-Time Scale Optimization
This paper addresses the optimization of multi-type energy storage (MES) configuration in distributed energy (DER) system to cope with the volatility of renewable energy sources. First, it explores the key scientific issues and system architecture characteristics of MES in DER system. To address the volatility of renewable energy outputs in DER systems, a two-stage optimization configuration method for MES considering multiple time scales is proposed. Additionally, taking into account the coupling characteristics of cold, heat, and electricity energy flows, a collaborative optimization strategy for a MES system is further designed. Results analysis validates the effectiveness of the proposed methods. The case study based on the methods proposed shows an 8.16% improvement in economic efficiency, approximately 8.20% and 93.90% enhancements in environmental protection and energy efficiency respectively, surpassing the average levels of other cases, effectively promoting the widespread application of renewable energy.
