Task Scheduling in Cloud Computing using Heuristic, Metaheuristic and Hybrid Techniques: A Review
Cloud computing revolutionizes the way of computational resources and services because as the request increases, the lively nature of Cloud resources evolves many challenges. Ineffective scheduling of task leads to resource imbalances such as overuse or underuse which can degrade service quality or wastage of resources. The key focus of this work is to examine the problems related to task allocation in the Cloud environment i.e. on key performance indicators like resource utilization, reliability, makespan, cost, energy consumption, availability and response time. This paper presents a literature review on scheduling of task in Cloud computing using Heuristic, Metaheuristic and Hybrid Techniques highlighting the Findings and outlines direction for future research.
