Analysis of phase-sensitive reflectometer output data processing methods for speech detection
This paper presents a study on the recognition of audio signals using optical fiber technology. The purpose of the research is to develop a method for detecting and analyzing acoustic signals via optical fiber sensors, enabling high-precision monitoring and signal recognition. The methodology involves the use of phase-sensitive optical time-domain reflectometer that allows converting acoustic vibrations into optical signals, which are subsequently processed and analyzed. Key aspects of signal acquisition, preprocessing, and feature extraction are described. Experimental results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed approach. The developed method provides a promising alternative for applications requiring robust, real-time signal monitoring. Additionally, the results indicate potential improvements in sensitivity and accuracy when employing advanced signal processing techniques. The findings of this study contribute to the further development of fiber-optic sensing systems for diverse practical applications, including security systems.
