Fabry-Perot interferometer-based fibre optic pressure sensor mathematical modelling and sensitivity analysis
This paper discusses the use of fibre optic sensors based on Fabry-Perot interferometers for pressure measurement. The paper presents a mathematical model of the sensor membrane, and describes its vibrations and sensitivity to the pressure field. It also analyses the transmission and reflection spectra of the fibre optic pressure sensor, and the influence of different membrane parameters on its sensitivity. The modelling results show that the proposed sensor has high accuracy and stability in pressure measurement, and that its design is simple and reliable.
