MODERN INNOVATIVE FARE PAYMENT SYSTEMS FOR ROUTE PASSENGER TRANSPORT
The article provides an overview of modern technologies for paying for travel on public transport, analyzes their technical application, impact on passengers, and compares them with traditional payment methods (transport cards and cash). Particular attention is paid to the advantages and disadvantages of each method in the conditions of Russian cities and the economic efficiency of their implementation for transport operators and city authorities.
