Turbo Low Pressure Warning Light
This study presents the design and development of a Turbo Low Pressure Warning Light (TLPWL) system aimed at providing real-time pressure monitoring and alerts for conventional turbocharged vehicles. Turbochargers enhance engine performance but are prone to pressure drops that may cause increased fuel consumption, reduced power output, and engine damage. Existing systems fail to provide timely alerts for such events in non-commercial vehicles. The prototype system integrates a pressure sensor, microcontroller, and LED-based warning indicator to deliver real-time feedback. The study follows the ADDIE model for system development and was tested by experts in the automotive field. Evaluation revealed high acceptability in functionality, aesthetics, and safety, positioning the TLPWL system as an innovative solution for improving engine maintenance and driving safety.
