Emerging Loads: Modeling for Transmission Reliability Studies
Historically, modeling for power system dynamic studies has focused more on the modeling of generation resources since system planners and operators rely on accurate and sufficient generator models to verify the generator’s capability to maintain stable operation following disturbances. Most utilities and reliability coordinators globally have stringent rules for modeling and regularly validating generator models.
