Ethics and Responsibility in The Development and Implementation of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence represents a significant advance in contemporary society, offering innovative solutions for different areas. However, its development requires attention to ethical and responsibility issues to avoid negative impacts, such as algorithmic biases, privacy risks and lack of transparency in automated decisions.Given this scenario, this study aims to discuss ethics and responsibility in the development and implementation of artificial intelligence. In order to explain the concepts related to the subject, a theoretical survey was carried out, using bibliographic research in books, articles and other scientific research with physical or virtual access that deals with the studied topic. It was concluded that regulation and the establishment of ethical standards are fundamental to guide its responsible use, and audit mechanisms, continuous monitoring and professional training are essential to ensure its reliability. In this way, artificial intelligence can be applied in an ethical and transparent manner, contributing to social and economic progress without neglecting the principles of equity, responsibility and respect for human rights.
