Generation and Verification of T-matrix for Prop-rotor Hub Vibratory Response to IBC Input under Transient Flight Conditions
A parametric study was performed to analyze the variation in the vibration characteristics of a prop-rotor hub to reduce vibration using the individual blade control (IBC) method under the transition flight conditions of a prop-rotor system. A transfer matrix (T-matrix) was generated to derive the hub vibration response to the IBC input based on the results of the parametric study. Parametric studies were conducted for seven transition flight conditions, and seven T-matrix were generated through these parametric study results. The results of the parametric study were used to analyze the sensitivity of the hub load element to the IBC input frequency for each transition flight condition. The generated T-matrix was verified through simulation comparison to minimize vibration of IBC input conditions.
