Research on Production Optimization Scheduling of Prefabricated Building Components Based on Improved Genetic Algorithm
Prefabricated construction, as a modern construction method, is characterized by the standardized design of prefabricated components, factory production, and assemblybased construction. Compared to traditional construction methods, this new type of construction has advantages such as shorter construction cycles, less environmental pollution, and reduced construction waste. Prefabricated components are the most important part of prefabricated buildings. These components are produced and processed in factories, delivered to construction sites by the component manufacturers, and then assembled by the construction unit, ultimately forming a complete prefabricated building. During component production scheduling, challenges such as resource shortages, process interference, process dependencies, and multi-objective conflicts arise. Therefore, more scientific project scheduling is needed in actual production and construction to address these issues. This paper adopts an improved genetic algorithm-based scheduling model for the production of prefabricated building components and conducts case analysis and validation. The results show that this method has certain effectiveness in shortening the construction cycle and reducing construction costs.
