Integrating Recommendation Algorithms into Smart Elderly Travel Platforms

With the intensification of global population aging, the demand for travel and retirement among elderly individuals is increasing. However, many elderly people lack platform services tailored to their specific needs. Many of them are not proficient in using digital resources or electronic wearable devices, leading to limited personal digital information. This study explores the application of recommendation algorithms to address this issue. By analyzing the data they have left on existing travel platforms or other platforms, as well as the data of similar groups of people, the study provides personalized travel recommendations. The aim is to enhance user satisfaction and engagement, offering elderly people a more fulfilling and personalized travel experience.
