Societal Initiatives for Reporting Emergency Situations in Indonesia: A Comprehensive Study on Community Services
A sense of security and peace is a human right for all levels of society in their daily lives, as s is also stated in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Article 28G paragraph 1. However, it cannot be denied that the crime rate and emergency in Indonesia are still relatively high, and there is no process for reporting emergency calls. 110 is one of the factors causing the high rate. However, some institutions still use telephone numbers, so the reporting process takes a long time in crime in Indonesia. Data from the Central Bureau of Statistics and Police show that 2020 is where the crime rate is at its peak, and one of the crimes that often occurs is theft. It is the duty of the government and the police to maintain public safety. To overcome these problems, a service application was created to make it easier for the public to process complaints of criminal acts and for the police to follow up on complaints of criminal acts that occur more quickly. This application has an S.O.S. (Save Our Soul) emergency button feature, chatbots, reports, history, and tracking.
