Revolutionizing Sustainable Performance Indicators for the Renewable Energy Sector Industry
Technological development and sustainability awareness have been the biggest motivations behind conducting studies on these topics. Align with the 2030 agenda to present a better future, business stakeholders are demanded to innovate and integrate their strategies based on three pillars: environment, economy, and society. Enterprise's contribution towards those pillars can be seen from its sustainable performance. Studies argue on the best way to examine an enterprise's sustainable performance since various metrics are available. However, the critical factor in successfully mapping the enterprise's sustainable performance is the metric's feasibility in covering the three pillars mentioned above. Hence, the current study aims to develop a literature review of previous studies to standardize the measurement for examining an enterprise's sustainable performance. Additionally, we performed text mining on the Scopus database using renewable energy and sustainable performance as the keywords, resulting in 1100 studies, which we then mapped to unveil the research area surrounding them. The current study benefits the literature by updating the research map regarding renewable energy and enterprise's sustainable performance.
