SOME CHARACTERISTICS OF PULSED DISCHARGE WITH HOLLOW CATHODE IN LOW-PRESSURE ARGON INITIATED BY INJECTION OF PLASMA BUNCH
It has been established that the electric field in the plasma of a high-voltage, low-pressure discharge in argon with a hollow cathode, which is ignited by injection of a plasma bunch, can reach ≈ 10 5 Td. The dependence of the radial electric field on the argon pressure has been found. The fact of the presence of a group of electrons with an energy of more than 80 eV in the near-axial region of the cathode has been established.
