FBG hydrogen sensor based on Pt-WO3
Prepared a nanoscale hydrogen-sensitive material, uniformly coated it onto a fiber Bragg grating, and fabricated a fiber Bragg grating hydrogen sensor. SEM characterization reveals that the Pt-WO3 composite nanoparticles are unevenly distributed on the surface of the grating, resulting in a loose and porous structure. The performance test shows that the sensor has a detection sensitivity of 0.095 pm/ppm in the range of 0-3.01 % hydrogen concentration, the response time is 28.5 seconds, and it has good linearity. When exposed to different concentrations of interfering gases of CO2, C2H4, and CH4, the sensor exhibits good gas selectivity and anti-interference performance.
