Frictionless UX and the Future of Professional Communication

The concept of frictionlessness has pervaded our everyday lives to control how we complete mundane tasks such as using smart speakers to the more critical involving health and medical technologies. Understood within the concept of user convenience, frictionless UX offers itself as a transparent, uncomplicated, and user-friendly form of connectivity operating as an indispensable fulfillment mechanism with little or no effort on our part. I examine the origins of frictionless UX to question if frictionless UX is the new efficiency imperative. My response examines the implications of frictionless UX for the future of technical and professional communication.
