Systematic Literature Review (SLR): Pendekatan Problem-Based Learning sebagai Solusi Peningkatan Pemahaman Konsep pada Siswa SMA Kelas XI pada Materi Konsep Derivatif

This study examines the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach in improving understanding of mathematical concepts, especially in the material of function derivatives, among grade XI high school students. Based on the results of research recorded in various studies, the application of the PBL model has proven effective for improving conceptual understanding and student learning outcomes. In addition, other studies also show that PBL not only improves conceptual understanding, but also problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and collaboration between students. The application of this model in various contexts, either with concrete media, bold learning, or with technology-based modifications, results in increased student engagement and helps them to be more active in the learning process. PBL also has a positive impact on increasing learning interest, communication skills, and mathematical representation, which shows the success of this model in improving the quality of mathematics learning. Thus, the application of PBL can be an effective learning method in improving the quality of learning, conceptual understanding, and student skills in mathematics subjects, especially in materials that require in-depth understanding such as the concept of function derivatives.
