SUFFICIENT OBLIGATIONS AND THEIR EFFECTS ON ACHIEVING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

This research deals with the sufficient obligations and their effects in achieving sustainable development, and the close relationship between them. The sufficient obligations are the focus of sustainable development, as they represent a pillar of development, and are included in most of the seventeen goals set by the United Nations, which seek to achieve them by 2030 AD; however, Islamic law preceded the United Nations and called for sufficient obligations more than 14 centuries ago.The sufficient obligations provide sustainable development with paths that illuminate the paths of people who wish to develop the Islamic society, and there is no doubt that their absence has many effects that enter into all areas of life; therefore, efforts must be made to vitalise the relationship between sustainable development and the sufficient obligations; so that it appears clear to the eye.
