Profil Terapi Pasien HIV Dewasa di Klinik Mawar PKBI Periode 2024

Abstract. HIV infection is one of the global health issues, including in Indonesia. West Java is one of the five provinces in Indonesia with the highest number of HIV-infected patients. HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that infects the human immune system, causing a decline in the body's immune system. Patients infected with the HIV virus must undergo antiretroviral therapy. Antiretrovirals play a role in reducing mortality and morbidity rates among HIV-infected patients. The aim of this study was to determine the antiretroviral therapy regimen consumed by HIV patients at the Mawar PKBI Clinic in Bandung during the 2024 period. The method used in this study was a retrospective descriptive study with a sample size of 89 HIV patients who met the adult age criteria. The results of the study found that the antiretroviral therapy regimens used were in accordance with the guidelines set forth in Ministry of Health Regulation No. 23 of 2022, with patients taking first-line antiretroviral therapy regimens, specifically the preferred regimen combining Tenofovir, Lamivudine, and Dolutegravir, and 38 patients were on the alternative regimen of Tenofovir, Lamivudine, and Efavirenz. Abstrak. Infeksi HIV menjadi salah satu masalah kesehatan global, salah satunya di Indonesia. Jawa Barat menjadi 1 dari 5 provinsi di Indonesia dengan jumlah pasien terinfeksi HIV terbanyak. HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) adalah virus yang menginfeksi sistem imun tubuh manusia sehingga menyebabkan penurunan sistem kekebalan tubuh. Pasien yang terinfeksi virus HIV harus menjalani terapi antiretroviral. Antiretroviral berperan dalam menurunkan angka mortalitas dan morbiditas pasien yang terinfeksi virus HIV. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui regimen terapi antiretroviral yang dikonsumsi oleh pasien HIV di Klinik Mawar PKBI Bandung pada periode 2024. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif retrospektif dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 89 pasien HIV dengan kriteria usia dewasa. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa regimen terapi antiretroviral yang digunakan sesuai dengan tatalaksana Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan No 23 Tahun 2022 dengan pasien yang mengkonsumsi regimen terapi antiretroviral lini pertama yaitu sebanyak terapi pilihan dengan kombinasi Tenovofir, Lamivudine, dan Dolutegravir sebanyak 51 orang pasien serta regimen terapi alternatif yaitu Tenovofir, Lamivudine, dan Efavirenz sebanyak 38 orang pasien.
