Mathematical Modeling Predator-Prey Interactions

The work exploresthe system of a community of different typesof predators and a communityof different types of their victims. The victim systems are considered – two predators, two victims and one predator. A modelof community interaction between a given numberof victims and a given number of predators is proposed. The modelsare represented by Cauchy problems for systemsof ordinary differential equations. The setting of the initial datais determined by the concept of the primary occurrenceof victims. Within the frameworkof simulation modeling, it is demonstrated that the deathof groups of predators and groups of victims is possible in the evolutionary process.

Abstract

The work exploresthe system of a community of different typesof predators and a communityof different types of their victims. The victim systems are considered – two predators, two victims and one predator. A modelof community interaction between a given numberof victims and a given number of predators is proposed. The modelsare represented by Cauchy problems for systemsof ordinary differential equations. The setting of the initial datais determined by the concept of the primary occurrenceof victims. Within the frameworkof simulation modeling, it is demonstrated that the deathof groups of predators and groups of victims is possible in the evolutionary process.
