Profil Pasien Hipertensi Komorbid Gagal Ginjal Kronis di Rumah Sakit X

Abstract. Hypertension is a chronic condition characterized by a persistent increase in blood pressure, which, if left uncontrolled, can lead to complications such as chronic kidney disease (CKD). CKD is a progressive and irreversible decline in kidney function that often requires hemodialysis as a replacement therapy. This study aimed to describe the characteristics of hypertensive patients with comorbid chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis at Hospital X. A total of 77 patients participated as respondents. The results showed that most patients were female (58.4%) and within the age group of 36–45 years (31.2%). The majority had completed secondary education (39.0%) and worked as housewives (44.2%). Most patients had undergone hemodialysis for 0–5 years (58.4%). The most commonly used antihypertensive medication was amlodipine (32.5%) as monotherapy, followed by combinations such as amlodipine–candesartan (26.0%) and amlodipine–bisoprolol–candesartan (16.9%). These findings provide an overview of the clinical and demographic characteristics of patients, which may serve as a reference for improving treatment strategies and monitoring in patients with hypertension and chronic kidney disease.
