Kajian Teknis Dampak Kegiatan Peledakan (Flyrock) Studi Kasus di PT Silva Andia Utama Kecamatan Batujajar, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Provinsi Jawa Barat

Abstaract. Flyrock is one of the most hazardous impacts of blasting activities, posing a significant threat to the safety of workers and nearby communities around mining areas. This study aims to examine the influence of blasting geometry parameters—such as burden, spacing, stemming, powder factor, and explosive charge—on the throw distance of flyrock, as well as to compare actual field data with predicted results. Primary data were collected directly from the field, while secondary data were obtained from literature reviews and mining permit (IUP) maps. The analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to identify the relationship between blasting parameters and flyrock distance, accompanied by normality testing and predictive model comparison. The results indicate that the actual flyrock distance ranged from 11.2 to 147.1 meters, with an average of 52.23 meters. The parameters of powder factor, stemming, burden, and spacing were found to have significant influence, with a coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.825, indicating a strong model fit.Technical recommendations include adjusting the stemming length and explosive volume to effectively control flyrock and enhance operational safety.Abstract.
