An Ultra-Wideband and High-Resolution Microwave Photonic Beamforming Network

We propose an ultra-wideband and high-resolution microwave photonic beamforming system. Abstract

We propose an ultra-wideband and high-resolution microwave photonic beamforming system. The silicon-integrated 8-channel 4-bit tunable optical true-time delaylines are designed, and the results demonstrate 32 distinct pointing angles from <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$-85.5^{\circ}$</tex> to 69.1°.
