Droplet Flow Sensor to Acquire Transient Temperature Distribution, Droplet Position, and Velocity in Microchannel
We have developed a platinum (Pt) sensor aligned with a microchannel. By measuring the platinum resistance using 46 electrodes, we can obtain transient temperature distributions, droplet positions, and velocities at 200 μm intervals within the carrier flow. This sensor monitors droplet motion and temperature within the microchannel using only a current heating source and a single multichannel voltmeter.
