Investigation of Free-Space Optical Communication Under Turbulence with Different Optical Amplifier Positions
We investigation the free-space-optical-communication (FSOC) transmission performance under different turbulence conditions. The variations in optical power can be significantly improved when using optical pre-amplifier receiver (<tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$R x$</tex>) and <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$R x$</tex> with larger aperture.
