Correlative Conjugated Intradyne Detection for Laser-Phase-Noise-Free Coherent Transmission
We demonstrate correlative conjugated intradyne detection for laser-phase-noise-free coherent transmission. Optical carrier phase is recovered from spectral correlation between phaseconjugated twin signals. Experimentally demonstrated is <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$16-\text{Gb} / \mathrm{s}$</tex> QPSK transmission using low-cost broad-linewidth distributed-feedback laser diodes.
