Identity-Based Access Control Encryption Scheme for Medical Internet of Things

The Medical Internet of Things (MIoT) revolutionizes smart healthcare but also triggers privacy concerns, demanding robust, adaptable access control. Our paper presents an identity-based encryption scheme tailored for MIoT, managing 'write' for record owners and 'read' for users. It leverages hierarchical identities to delegate keys, easing key generation burdens, and restricts malicious access via identity revocation, safeguarding patient privacy. By introducing sanitized revocable hierarchical identity-based broadcast encryption (SRHIBBE), our scheme integrates with MIoT, enabling keyless sanitization with consistent ciphertext size. The results of function comparison and efficiency analysis demonstrate that the proposed scheme exhibits richer functionality and higher efficiency.
