Experimental Performance Characterization of Optical Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) Processor Using Genetic Algorithm

We characterize and compare four-fitness functions for the genetic-algorithm (GA) to effectively configure the silicon-photonic-based multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) processor. Results show that different fitness function works well at different initial power distributions.

Abstract

We characterize and compare four-fitness functions for the genetic-algorithm (GA) to effectively configure the silicon-photonic-based multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) processor. Results show that different fitness function works well at different initial power distributions.
