Cross-Domain Access Control Encryption Scheme with Bilateral Privacy Protection in Vehicular Networks

In the context of vehicular networks under the Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) framework, there are numerous security challenges in modern traffic data sharing. Therefore, it is necessary to apply security encryption and control to the shared data to prevent unauthorized access and data abuse by malicious participants. Existing methods are inadequate to meet emerging security demands. For instance, in Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X) communications, they fail to achieve bidirectional control over both transmission and access rights and provide limited defense against replay attacks on encrypted data. To address these issues, this paper proposes a Ciphertext Sanitizable Attribute-Based Cross-Domain Access Control Encryption (CS-ABCDACE), which can be applied to secure communication and data sharing in vehicular networks based on ORAN. The proposed scheme not only supports ciphertext sanitization but also enables fine-grained bidirectional access control for both senders and receivers. By combining access control encryption technology with attribute-based encryption, a data-sharing access control encryption mechanism suitable for vehicular networks in ORAN is designed, along with a ciphertext sanitization algorithm. With the help of a one-time strong signature and a unidirectional anonymous key negotiation protocol, the scheme effectively defends against ciphertext replay attacks, ensuring both the security and bidirectional controllability of the communication data. By simultaneously using a white-box traceable algorithm model, the identity of traitors is traced. Finally, through a comparative analysis with existing literature, it is demonstrated that the proposed scheme is both secure and efficient.
